Our flat head swimmers come in 3 sizes and 10 fish catching colors. 4 inch (approx. 1 ounce), 6 inch (approx. 2 ounces), and 8 inch (approx. 2 3/4 ounces).  All lure weights are approximates due to variations in wood grain etc..
     All of our flat head swimmers are made of the finest Alaskan Yellow Cedar, with a stainless steel through wire construction, hand formed, stainless hook hangers, and heavy weight stainless split rings.  We then add VMC, 4X strong, Perma Steel hooks.   Hand tied synthetic tails are formed from Stainless wire on our 6 and 8 inch models while the same synthetic is tied on a 2/0 Perma Steel siwash hook on our 4 inch model.  The synthetic tail material was chosen for our lures because it stands up, even to bluefish.  All of our lures are totally sealed against water intrusion, painted,  and finished with 2 tough epoxy coatings, to ensure lasting durability.
    Our 4 inch swimmer can be fished from just below the surface to a depth of approximately 18-24 inches.  The 6 inch swims from right on the surface to about 12-14 inches down, while the 8 inch goes to about 8 inches below the surface.

    All of our metal lipped swimmers are tunned to dig into the water without breaking out or rolling over, however, we are unable to swim every lure we make and some adjustment might be necessary.  To properly tune our lures it is suggested that you slightly bend the line tie eye only.  Bending the metal lip of the lure is not recommended and may permanently damage the lure.
